Welcome to Kalektiv!
We’re so happy you’re here. Kalektiv is built on movement, connection, and respect for your body and for one another. By purchasing a membership, class pack, or attending a session, you’re agreeing to the following guidelines that help us create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable space for everyone.
1. Studio Policies & Etiquette
Grip Socks: For everyone’s comfort, hygiene, and safety on the reformers, grip socks are required in all classes. If you forget yours, we’ve got you covered. They’re available for purchase at reception.
Arrival: We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before class so you can settle in and get ready to move with ease. If it’s your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes early so we can welcome you, show you around, and guide you through a mandatory reformer orientation for safety.
Late Entry: To keep classes safe and flowing smoothly, we’re unable to admit clients more than 3 minutes after the class start time. In this case, the session will be treated as a late cancellation.
Phones & Filming: To preserve a focused and comfortable environment for everyone in our classes, phones and filming are not permitted during class, except in designated Media-Friendly sessions.
2. Bookings & Cancellations
To ensure fair access to classes for all members of our community, we have the following booking policies:

Standard Cancellation Window: Classes must be cancelled at least 10 hours before the scheduled start time to avoid a penalty, unless your membership includes an Enhanced Cancellation Window.

Enhanced Cancellation Window: Some memberships allow cancellations up to 3 hours before class without penalty. Please check your membership details.

Late Cancellation: If you cancel within your applicable window (10 hours or 3 hours), the class credit will be forfeited. Unlimited Members will be charged a $10 late cancel fee.

No-Show: If you miss a class without cancelling, the class credit will be lost. Unlimited Members will be charged a $10 no-show fee.
3. Waitlist Policy
If a class is full, you’re welcome to join the waitlist—spots often open up!
If a space becomes available, you’ll be automatically added to the class and notified via email, text, or app.
Please note that cancellation windows (10-hour or 3-hour, depending on your membership) still apply once you’re added. If your plans change, be sure to cancel within the appropriate timeframe to avoid penalties.
4. Memberships & Class Packs
Refunds: All purchases are final, and we do not offer refunds on memberships, class packs, or retail items.
Expirations: Class packs come with set expiration dates (shared at the time of purchase). We encourage you to use your classes within that timeframe, as unused credits do not roll over.
Transfers: Memberships and class credits are personal and cannot be shared or transferred.
Suspensions: We understand that life happens. Monthly memberships can be paused for up to 3 months. Just reach out to our team and we’ll be happy to help.
5. Liability Waiver & Safety
Your safety is incredibly important to us. By attending classes, you acknowledge the following:

Physical Readiness: You confirm that you are in suitable physical condition to participate in Reformer Pilates and do not have any conditions that would prevent safe participation.

Assumption of Risk: As with any physical activity, there is a risk of injury. By participating, you accept these risks as part of your experience.

Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, please let your instructor know and ensure you have medical clearance before attending class.

Release of Liability: By attending, you agree to release Kalektiv, its owners, and instructors from any claims related to injuries or incidents that may occur during your participation.
6. Personal Property
While we strive to create a safe environment, Kalektiv is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. We recommend bringing only what you need and using storage spaces mindfully.
7. Right to Refuse Service
To protect the integrity of our community, Kalektiv reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior is dishonest, unsafe, or disruptive to others.
